Meet Brandon
Rev. Brandon Vetter, Southeast District Superintendent
Rev. Brandon Vetter holds a BA from Dakota Wesleyan University (SD) and an M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary (KY). He began serving the Dakotas Conference as the campus pastor at Dakota Wesleyan in 2006. While serving at DWU, he launched Fusion, a United Methodist congregation that is a blend of the campus and community in Mitchell, South Dakota. He was appointed in 2015 to serve as the associate pastor at Legacy United Methodist Church in Bismarck, North Dakota, and became senior pastor in 2016. In July of 2024, he started serving as the District Superintendent of the Southeast District of the Dakotas Conference, based in Sioux Falls, SD.
Rev. Vetter is an exceptional spiritual and innovative leader. He brings a contemplative spirit and a compassionate heart to invite others to know and love Jesus. Brandon has been committed and effective in developing missional leaders through his work on the Board of Ordained Ministry as well as in his different ministry settings. He has experience starting a new faith community, partnering with rural churches, and leading a large congregation. He exemplifies the circuit rider spirit of John Wesley in his commitment to know, love, and serve God and his neighbor.
