For the past eight years, the Dakotas and Minnesota Conferences have united to be one episcopal area, sharing a bishop and several ministries. 

We celebrate our connection as an Area, and the partnerships we have created with the Minnesota Conference in ways that advance the mission on both sides of the border. 

Several formal partnerships have been developing and include: Camp and Retreat Ministries, new church development, a Lilly Grant focused on financial well-being, and the work of the Dakotas and Minnesota Foundations.

There have been several informal partnerships that have strengthened our connection like the work of the cabinets meeting around leadership and vision, and the work of the communications staff, developing a team that produces award-winning messaging.
