Your gifts to the 2023 Miracle Offering: The Road of Hope are making a difference for North and South Dakota people. Nearly $44,000 was distributed to the Helpline of South Dakota and FirstLink of North Dakota.
"Your generous donations will help us evolve and connect to our community's changing and growing needs," said Janet Kittmans, Chief Executive Officer for Helpline Center. "Many people talk about changing lives; you are actually doing it."
Your gifts will continue to grow. Funds distributed to FirstLink will be used as a match for Giving Hearts Day. North Dakota has a day of giving called Giving Hearts Day. Giving Hearts Day encourages the public to find a charity to love. Giving Hearts Day assists thousands of people from hundreds of area charities to better tell their mission story, promote online giving, and lead conversations with donors, preparing them for a one-day "home run" and giving them a fundraising system they can use all year.
"Thank you for thinking of FirstLink and giving us a generous financial gift. We very much appreciate you and your work," said Jennifer Illich, executive director at FirstLink. "We will use the funds as a match for Giving Hearts Day. The result is a more significant impact for hundreds of people across North Dakota.
