Children didn't have to look far for fun, games, and candy as churches across the area held trick-or-treating events.
Members of Faith United Methodist Church in north Fargo dressed up their cars and themselves as they handed candy to kids.
Inside the church there were games, free food, and prizes to be had.
"You know, I think Halloween's just a fun event for families and for kids and we just wanted to put on an event that's safe and an alternative to the regular door-to-door trick or treating and kids are having a great time," said Pastor Kevin Kloster.
Reporter: "Why do you guys like Halloween so much?"
Schwind Family Children: "Because we get to go trick or treating." "And 'cuz we get so much candy and we like candy." "And we get to eat them."
Families were also able to enjoy an around the block carriage ride, free of charge.
