The Dakotas United Methodist Foundation has Ministry Development Matching Grants for churches/ ministries in the Dakotas Conference.

Requirements for grants are as follows:

• That the grants be for new (within the last five years) or emerging ministries.

• There will be at least 12 grants available at $500 and two at $1000.

• That the local church/ministry demonstrates a local match of the grant amount, up to $500 or $1000.

• That the local church/ministry demonstrates how the grant will assist in growing the work of the Christ and the Church in the Dakotas.

• Grant requests for program or staff enhancement will be given priority over equipment or facility needs.

• Grants review will begin Aug. 1, 2012 and funds sent shortly thereafter.
