Adventure. Gatherings. Fellowship. It all happens at Lake Poinsett Camp and Living Waters Retreat Center.  As a mission of the Dakotas United Methodist Conference, we seek to be a place of refuge and celebration. Set apart on the south end of Lake Poinsett we offer the calm view and invigorating waters of the lake for your group activities. We offer Christian camps with biblical based development and guidance that is loving and Christ-centered for all campers and families who chose our site for their summer events.  From early summer to early fall, all are invited to attend our Chapel service on Sunday morning, followed by a free brunch.

Early spring and into late fall, our Chapel is a beautiful location for weddings. Our traditional bells can be heard for miles as we announce the matrimonial event!  Winter is a quiet time and our Camp and Retreat center can’t be beaten for comfort and warmth. We host church groups, families, businesses, 12-step groups, art groups, and others who wish to build relationships in a serene environment. Our Retreat Center and at least two of our cabins are year-round, so for those who like snow-shoeing and other winter sports, we’re a wonderful place to spend a weekend.
