Erin Woods, a faithful church-goer growing up, enjoyed lots of activities at church. She spent time at church camp and doing lots of activities with her church’s youth group.
“There were so many fun activities,” says Erin, who currently severs as the children's ministry coordinator at Rapid City Canyon Lake UMC. “We were just so involved in the church That it just became my second home.”
She got a job as an elementary school teacher but didn’t feel fulfilled. A position to lead youth ministry came open at her church. A church member encouraged her to apply. Erin did not apply for the job; it just wasn’t possible.
Time went on, and the position became open again. Erin applied and accepted the job to be a leader of the children's ministry. “God made it happen,” she says.
