Fourteen men from four churches gathered at Storm Mountain Camp and Retreat Center on March 10-11. It was a time to learn, grow, fellowship, and serve.
On the first evening, participants worshipped and learned about God's grace. They heard the story about the woman at the well and watched Louie Giglio's video, "Fruitcake and Ice Cream."
Time was spent sprucing up Storm Mountain Camp. A team burned several slash wood piles as the Black Hills Forest clean-up continues. A small team served alongside Tanner Clark, site director at Storm Mountain, cleaning in the kitchen. Another group worked on the ongoing renovation of the Gold Dust cabin. A team helped to prepare the second duplex for a soon-to-be-hired food services manager.
"Thanks to all who came," said John Britt, organizer of the retreat and pastor at Grace UMC in Piedmont, South Dakota. "We give thanks to God for drawing us closer to Christ!"
