Dak Youth

Youth mapping out their love of the cross.
The Dakotas Conference on Youth Ministry team is organized by Conference Council of Youth Ministry (CCYM). CCYM organizes events that connect United Methodist youth from across the Dakotas to encourage and equip youth to become leaders in their churches and spur positive change in their communities.
DakYouth
DAKYOUTH is an annual fall youth event like no other and is for both middle school and high school youth in the Dakotas Conference. Youth gather from all around the conference to learn about leadership, discipleship, and service. There are engaging speakers, workshops, inspiring worship, and fun entertainment for all to enjoy. Check out the DakYouth website for updated information.
Winter Connection
Winter Connection is an opportunity for youth to gather, share, worship, and serve others. Each year there is a focus on a particular theme and scripture along with a unique and important component of service. Open to youth in grades 6-12, the weekend event is held at multiple locations across the Conference to allow for better accessibilty. It is typically scheduled for the end of January.
Camp
Camp is a great opportunity for youth to explore their faith, discern God's call on their lives, and build lasting relationships. There are multiple camps for youth at one of the three Dakotas Conference United Methodist camp sites - Storm Mountain, Wesley Acres, or Lake Poinsett.
