Looking for an intimate, woodland site for your wedding?
We have several options for small indoor or outdoor ceremonies and receptions. Enjoy the beauty of the Black Hills in a secluded, rustic setting with your friends as family as you make your vows. 

 

 

 

Rates and Amenities 

Flat Facility Fee: $1,000 (indoor and outdoor events)- The facility fee includes use of the ceremony and/or reception spaces as well as indoor and outdoor recreation areas. You will have access to the ceremony/reception site no later than 3PM the day prior to the event through 9AM the morning after the event. 
Lodging is not included and will be calculated separately, if available.

Can Storm Mountain Cater my wedding? 

We are unable to cater wedding reception meals. Consider supporting one of our local catering companies!

Can we use the Storm Mountain kitchen to prepare food for our wedding?

We are unable to provide guest use of the Storm Mountain kitchen facilities to prepare food. We can provide limited storage of catered or pre-prepared food and access to the ice machine and sinks. 

Can we serve alcohol at our wedding reception?

We are an alcohol free site and seek to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere at all times. 

How many wedding guests can Storm Mountain accomodate? 

We can accomodate between 70 and 150 guests. Most of our ceremony sites, both indoor and outdoor, can comfortably seat 70 or 80 guests. Indoor/outdoor reception areas and certain ceremony options can accomodate up to 150.  Be aware, the outdoor sites may present challenges to guests with limited mobility. 

What items does Storm Mountain provide? 

We have 8' and 6' tables, fixed and folding chairs, and picnic tables that are available for indoor and outdoor use.  We can provide extension cords and access to electricity for the outdoor spaces. Storm Mountain does not provide decorations. You will be responsible for set-up before the event and resetting spaces after your event. 

How much parking is available for my event at Storm Mountain? 

Parking is limited, and based on availability. Our main parking lot can accomodate 50-60 vehicles. Encourage your guests to carpool if they are able- it's always fun to ride with a friend!
