Last week you received guidance for returning to in-person worship. Bishop Ough asks every congregation in the Dakotas Conference to develop a plan for how to return to in-person worship in a gradual manner. Here are four resources as you develop a plan.

1. American Church Group of the Dakotas guidance. Dustin Strande, who serves as a partner and agent with liability insurance provider, American Church Group of the Dakotas, says, “While every situation is different, in the unlikely event that a church was found negligent, there could be coverage for legal defense as well as court judgments if a third party claimant alleges that the ministry was responsible for his or her sickness.” The company offers this guidance, Before We Gather: Making Plans.
