AC 2024 happens this week!
It happens this week! The 31sr Session of the Dakotas Conference of The United Methodist Church is taking place in Bismarck, Norh Dakota at Legacy United Methodist Church and McCabe United Methodist Church, June 6-8, 2024.
The three-day conference session is a time for Dakotas United Methodists to worship and enjoy fellowship, learn from teaching sessions, seek God's guidance as we make decisions about ministry direction, determine budgets, ordain and commission clergy, and receive the bishop's clergy appointments. Annual conference is not just for clergy and lay members; it is for anyone who would like to attend as a guest. Here are some things to guide your participation.
Legislation: At the Pre-Conference Gatherings held May 28, May 30, and June 2 legistion was previewed including the 2025 Budet Proposal, the Board of Pensions Report, a preview of the General Conference Report, the Committee of Nominations Report and the Consent Calendar. Schedule: If you are joining the annual conference in Bismarck, North Dakota, you will want to access the detailed schedule. Livestream: If you cannot make it to Bismarck, you can view most of the 2024 Annual Conference on the Dakotas Conference website. The live stream will include all the worship services, talks by four speakers in a Ted Talk stule, plenary sessions, and the laity sessions. The lunch and learn sessions and the workshops will be recorded and made available later.
