Watch this video message, as Kay Braun, chair of the sessions committee, gives a brief introduction and overview of the events and the format of the 2021 Dakotas Annual Conference.
The 28th Session of the Dakotas Annual Conference will take place on June 11-12, 2021 in a hybrid format. Here is what you need to know about the hybrid format:
- The business items and voting will take place on Friday, June 11, 2021.
- When you register, choose one on of the four locations: Bismarck McCabe UMC, Fargo First UMC, Rapid City First UMC, and the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
- Voting will only take place at the four locations.
- Saturday, June 12 will be a day of equipping and learning.
- Register to attend at the Sioux Falls Convention Center or virtually on your own device.
- There will be two teaching sessions with Rev. Rachel Billups lead pastor at Ginghamsburg UMC in Ohio.
- You can select two of the six workshops that will be offered.
- Virtual participants will be e-mailed the Zoom link for the sessions they register.
- There will be three worship services opening worship, the Celebration of Life in Ministry Service, and closing worship that will be live streamed on the Dakotas Conference website.
