Yesterday’s passage reminded us of the authority of Jesus, the authority of God, to act in ways we don’t have to understand but can still accept and praise in faith. Today’s Psalm reminds us that our God is, after all, the God who created the heavens, which give all glory to God in their continuing light, giving heat, nurture, and order to our existence. Our God is God of all possibilities, living and acting for our benefit. Every day and every night should visually remind us of the constant power and love God brings to our lives.

What miracles of God are you forgetting to acknowledge? Could you take up a simple practice of praise, honoring God by listing everyday miracles as you shower or brush your teeth each day? Would you let your senses be attuned to the powerful possibilities of God?
