As we continue to journey through these times of uncertainty, are you feeling good about your wellbeing—your relationships, finances, emotional health, physical health and spiritual health? Take care of yourself, be strong in your faith, and continue to ramp-up your spiritual practices.
These are difficult times and it so easy to neglect for your pastor and congregational leaders to neglect their own well-being.
A team, known as the Total Well-Being Team, has gathered some resources for clergy and is inviting clergy to take some time to focus on being well. Each Wednesday, beginning on April 29, clergy colleagues are invited to participate in a virtual time away from their busy lives for spirituality and wellness.
Total Well-Being Team members of Shawn Culey, Lin Van Hofwegen, Deb Kjerstad, Diane Owen, Susan Reese, Leana Stunes, and Sarah Swantner will be hosting weekly spiritual devotions and reflection— called Soul Fill-up, at 8:00 a.m. Mountain Time and 9:00 a.m. Central Time.
Clergy are invited to gather for a virtual wellness lunch chat at 11:30 a.m. Mountain Time and 12:30 p.m. Central Time. Each week a different topic will be discussed, beginning with personal financial wellness on April 29, followed by physical wellness on May 6.
Spiritual health is a key to our well-being. Your pastor is the leader of your spiritual community, providing food for your soul in creative ways during the pandemic. They need your support. Please encourage and uplift them by praying for them. Encourage and provide time for them to participate in the weekly Soul Fill-up and Lunch chat sessions.
