The Bible study topic “How Is It With Your Soul?” will be taught by Dr. Gary Ball-Kilbourne at Mission u 2014. Mission u, formerly School of Christian Mission, will be held July 10-13 at Dakota Wesleyan University (DWU) in Mitchell, South Dakota and July 17-20 at the University of Jamestown, Jamestown, North Dakota. This study seeks to discuss Biblical texts, Wesley and the early Methodists, faithful women past and present, and spiritual practices.
Dr. Gary Ball-Kilbourne is a retired Elder, having served churches in Minot, Jamestown, Fargo, Washburn, Center, Riverdale, and Harpers Ferry (WV). For several years, he oversaw the development and publication of adult curriculum resources at The United Methodist Publishing House in Nashville. He has previously taught at Dakotas Conference Schools of Mission, and has served as retreat master and faculty for the Academy for Spiritual Formation. In retirement, Gary enjoys writing, genealogical research, Toastmasters, and grandchildren.
