Kairos: Building spiritual leaders for today and tomorrow

Michele Slott

Rev. Michele Slott, Kairos Project graduate

The Kairos Project at Sioux Falls Seminary is a groundbreaking effort to make the path to ministry navigable for a wide swath of disciples.
The Kairos philosophy provides students with flexible learning opportunities facilitated through contextually integrated educational moments and adaptable assignments. Kairos students learn and grow under the supervision of a mentor team, by the direction of faculty, and through participation in a cohort-based community of learning.

Rev. Taylor Johnson, Kairos student.

The Kairos educational journey is oriented toward outcomes, and coursework can be customized in light of a student's needs and calling. A flat monthly tuition fee provides access to nearly every learning experience and resource in the Kairos network. Kairos is an academically challenging and flexible path for individuals who are actively engaged in ministry and/or desire to integrate their faith and work.

In this video from Dakotas Conference Communications, hear the insights into Kairos from several faculty, students, and graduates. For more info on the Kairos Project, click here.
