• Everyone goes to Sunday School in Kensal: Kensal United Methodist Church sees an average of 15-17 in worship on Sunday but there are 24-30 kids at Sunday school each week. How does that happen? All of the kids in the community are invited and they can’t wait to show up each week. Watch video
• Called: Richard's story: Richard Wahlstrom, has answered God's call to serve as a lay servant minister in multiple ways. He leads bible study and small groups at his local church, Rapid City Canyon Lake. He is the Southwest District co-lay leader and serves on the Dakotas United Methodist Foundation board. Richard states,"We are not all called to be pastors but we are all called." Watch video
• Take me out to the ball game: Conference attendees participated in an evening at the Sioux Falls Canaries Ball Park, where they ate hot dogs, brats and burgers, enjoyed music, watched or participated in the kickball tournament. There was even a pastors barbershop quartet that provided music, watch their performance here.
