The new quadrenniumg began January 1, 2020 -December 31, 2024 . The training is offerred only once every four years or quadrennium. The due date for part one of the training is January 15, 2021. The Conference staff, in partnership with the Board of Ordained Ministry and Appointive Cabinet, will be offering the Boundaries training, for the 2020-2024 quadrenium. virtually this year. We will be utilizing the online learning management tool, Pathwright. Pastors who have been connected to the Kairos Program as a student or mentor will recognize this software as one that is used by Sioux Falls Seminary.
By utilizing Pathwright, pastors can participate in the first portion of the asynchronous training, some time before mid-January. This portion will take approximately 90-120 minutes to complete.
The second portion of the training will be a Zoom call with your area ministry team in January, hosted by your district superintendent (DS). See the Ministry Appointment list in your clergy packet if you're not sure of your ministry team. Your DS will send you that information.
If you have any questions, please contact your district superintendent.
(Note: Clergy from other denominations serving UMCs in the Dakotas must participate in this training, or present documentation of participation in a comparable training, offered in your own denomination in the past two years.)
