Scripture Circles are a highly engaging, safe space to explore deeply with the Lover of our souls and peers, the sacred text and your own heart. Experience studying scripture in a rabbinical—communal, discussion-based, fashion with Julie Stoll. Look into original language and context, discover new insights, and deepen relationships with fellow pastors and church leaders. You will take away techniques for increasing engagement, encouraging enjoyment of the sacred text, and trusting the Spirit at work in the room. Stoll, a member of Faulkton United Methodist Church, presented a workshop on June 9, 2023 during the Dakotas Annual Conference at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
As a way to pour back into you, we are offering clergy in the Dakotas and Minnesota Annual Conferences a facilitated, virtual discussion based on the needs and thoughts of each clergy in the group. Scripture Circle Cohorts are created for deepening relationships and building trust-based discussions.
