Rev. Mary Ann Sheldon
Mary Ann Sheldon, age 80, of Spearfish, South Dakota, died May 19, 2026, at Edgewood Vista Memory Care in Spearfish. Rev. Sheldon was a retired elder of the Dakotas Conference.
Rev. Sheldon was ordained in the National Association of Congregational Churches. Her orders were recognized in the Dakotas Conference and she became a provisional member in 1996 and a full member in 1998. She served the Dakotas Conference of the United Methodist Church in the parishes of Ellendale/Guelph, Minot Faith/DesLacs, and Miller/Greenleaf before retiring in 2012.
Funeral services will be held at Spearfish United Methodist Church on Monday, June 8 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Paul Lint officiating.
