Luke-Acts Reading 
     After the disciples receive the words from Jesus to go to "the ends of the earth" in Acts 1, they watch Jesus ascend into heaven. They seem frozen in that moment before two angels appear and ask them why they are staring upward. It is a reminder to us that it can be easy to get stuck in a holy moment - one of awe, grief, joy, pain - and either not feel able or even want to move forward. Yet, Jesus' invitation to obedience and faithfulness invites us to keep follwing him from mountaintops to valleys and everywhere in between.
