Global Ministries is looking for individuals and teams to lead bold, grassroots, antiracist environmental projects in their communities as a part of the EarthKeeper program. Everything from building a recycling center, to planting a community garden, to installing rooftop solar, counts! Earthkeepers are equipped with resources to lead creation care work where they are. Saving Grace Clergy Cohort | Registration open
Registration is now open for the spring cohort: May 1 – June 12, Thursdays at 11:00 am – 12:15 pm. Start the new year by finding the peace that comes with being in control of finances instead of having them control you. Saving Grace: A Guide to Financial Well-Being is a practical resource written for the Methodist family and rooted in a Wesleyan perspective. The Merit Scholarship is available for Dakotas Conference seminary students, the Excellence in Clergy Leadership Scholarship for Dakotas and Minnesota seminary students, Dollars for Scholars which is available for Dakotas and Minnesota undergrad students attending UM-related schools, and the UMHEF General Named Endowment Scholarships for Dakotas and Minnesota seminary and undergrad students. Annual Conference 2025 Resolutions and Petitions
Do you have a resolution, petition, or specific legislation you would like to have considered at the 2025 Dakotas Annual Conference, being held June 6-8, 2025, in Mitchell, South Dakota? All proposals for petitions and resolutions for the Dakotas Annual Conference Session must be submitted electronically, by March 21. Items should be created using the Petitions and Resolutions form. Food Service & Housekeeping Manager – Storm Mountain Center – South Dakota
Storm Mountain Center, a 247-acre wilderness United Methodist Camp and Retreat Center located 20 minutes outside of Rapid City, South Dakota, seeks a Food Service & Housekeeping Manager. This critical position provides oversight to the food-service and housekeeping operations of the camp, serving approximately 2,500 guests annually. Storm Mountain Center operates year-round, both as a summer youth camp and a retreat center. The ideal candidate will have a radical hospitality mindset, experience in cooking and housekeeping in an institutional or large food service setting, be self-driven, organized, creative, and have an understanding of ministry as a lifestyle. This is a full-time, exempt position that includes housing, a generous benefits package, and meals provided when guests are present. Applicants must be willing to obtain a certification for a ServSafe Manager within one year. Anticipated start date of May 1st; though can be flexible for the right candidate.
