Amidst the pandemic outbreak, suspension of in-person worship continues. We invite you to worship with your local congregation virtually. You can view the link to online worship on the Dakotas Conference website’s church directory If the link for your online worship opportunity does not show up or is incorrect, please e-mail us.
One of the advantages of worshipping virtually is the opportunity to check out services from other churches. This week two Dakotas Conference congregations, Legacy UMC and North Highland UMC invite you to view worship.
An invitation from Rev. Brandon Vetter to view Legacy UMC:
Join us live every Sunday at 9:00 am or 10:30 am central time as we worship together as one church in many homes. You’re invited to join in the chat, share prayer requests, and connect with others seeking to make an impact for Jesus in this time of isolation. Replay worship anytime on your schedule and find many other ways to stay connected, from podcasts to videos. You can view worship on a laptop or computer here. You can also view worship on the Legacy app. You can also view worship on television through the Boxcast app.
An invitation from Rev. Lou Whitmer to view North Highland UMC:
This Sunday we will begin a series for this season of Easter, Heart of the Matter, based on ideas that originate with Marcia McFee and Worship Design Studio. The worship and message will center around home, heart, and connection—even though our understanding of connection has been greatly challenged. The triune God remains with and within us wherever we go or wherever we stay. Our hope for these messages is to strengthen that understanding of indwelling, as well as fully living into that promise in all that we think, say, and do in the coming days and weeks. We are working diligently to reach our congregation and beyond, and our two-person team freely proclaims that all aspects of online worship production is a work-in-progress for us, as it is for many. This week we are excited to use our newest upgrade of microphones which we hope will enhance the quality of sound and balance. The service is available at 10:30 a.m. through streaming here and soon after via video.
