Welcome to First UMC’s online worship experience, we are so honored you’re here! Here at First we exist to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We do so by being a sanctuary of Christian hope, love and encouragement in the heart of Sioux Falls. It’s our prayer that you would encounter God in a new way as we gather together from all over the world. Each service is a little different, 8:30  a.m. is a traditional service with lots of liturgy and hymns, our 9:45 a.m.  service has a little bit of everything and our 11:00 a.m. service features our modern praise team. No matter which worship experience you tune in to, we encourage you to participate however God is leading you to worship. Our reopening team has been hard at work and in deep prayer about the safest ways we can gather together for worship, serving, and growing with one another. Everything we do is in compliance with local and national agencies, ensuring safety for all those who enter our facility. We have set up social distancing for all our spaces, designed our programs to have better flow, and ramped up our online presence and offerings! We may not have all the answers, and certainly don’t know what tomorrow holds, but we remain committed to the work of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world!
